Description
Just 3 minutes walk from Nishitetsu Kashii Station! A restaurant specializing in pork belly (samgyeopsal) grilled on a "sotukon" has opened in Fukuoka! "Sotukon" is the Korean word for "lid of a pot". Please enjoy it wrapped with vegetables. In addition, you can enjoy our original dakgangjeon, handmade kimchi, and Korean daily side dishes. The restaurant is spacious with half-rooms for 2 people and up. We can accommodate various occasions such as drinking parties with friends, girls' parties, mothers' parties, farewell parties, and birthday parties. We can discuss the contents and prices of all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-drink, and course meals. If you are looking for true Korean food in Kashii, Sotukon is the place!
Our shop sign is in Katakana, so please see our photo above!

October 4, 2022 at 14:59I went to the SOTUKON restaurant just after they opened. My buddy took me along to try real Korean food. It was extremely authentic, aside for the fact that we spoke Japanese to the staff. The wonderful Korean hospitality that gives you unlimited portions of vegetables, kimchi, pickles, potato salad, even all-you-can-eat chijimi! Chijimi?? Yeah, chijimi!! That’s the Japanese word for Buchimgae in Korean. As much as you want, along with incredible thick-cut pork that the staff cook for you on an inverted pot-lid! Wild! You know you’re at the real thing when they cut the pork belly with a scissors. (Why didn’t we ever think of that at a Western steak house, anyway?) Roll up the chunks of pork with some spicy kochijan, kimchi, sliced garlic and veggies, and mercy, it’s heavenly! Highly recommended for BIG APPETITES!
